Originally from Spain, Dennis qualified in Dentistry from the University of Valencia. The following year, he was awarded a Masters in Endodontics from the same university. He has worked as a full-time Endodontist in several dental practices in Spain and has since relocated to Ireland. He is currently studying for a postgraduate qualification in Apical Microsurgery and Soft Tissue Management.
Dennis is an active member of the Asociación Española de Endodoncia (AEDE) and the Irish Endodontic Society (IES) which are leading authorities on the latest advances in endodontics. With his open and caring character, he likes patients to feel comfortable at all times, and ensures he provides the best care for all his patients.
Dennis loves soccer and since moving to Ireland, he has discovered that he also enjoys rugby and hurling.
Dr. Ciara Drummond graduated from Cork University Dental School and Hospital with an honours degree in 2016. During her time there she won the W&H UK Limited for excellence in Clinical and Operative Dentistry. Since graduation she has worked in general practice in her native Co. Kerry.
Ciara enjoys delivering all aspects of restorative dentistry and prides herself on providing high quality individualised dental care with a gentle and caring approach to all her patients. Ciara is committed to continuous professional development and regularly attends lectures and courses enhancing her knowledge of procedures, materials and equipment which promotes good quality dental care.
In addition, Ciara has completed further training in anti-wrinkle injections with the London School of Facial Aesthetics. She believes in bespoke treatment plans to achieve subtle enhancements.
In her spare time, Ciara can be found spending time with family and friends, travelling and keeping fit.
Dr. Clara is a native of Tralee and graduated from UCC in 1999. Following graduation, she moved to the UK working firstly in Southsea, Hampshire, Otford in Kent, finally moving on to owning Jade Dental Practice in Ashford, Kent, where she worked for 15 years. In 2018 she returned to practice in Tralee and joined Flynn's Dental Care in 2022.
Clara is trained in all aspects of general dentistry. She particularly enjoys treating nervous and anxious patients and root canal treatments. She is dedicated to providing anxiety-free dentistry to her patients in order to help them achieve their dental goals with ease. Clara completed her undergraduate studies in Cork graduating with honours and holds a Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. She actively enhances her education and training, keeping up-to-date with reading and courses.
Outside of work she has two teenage children who keep her very busy! She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and travelling when the opportunity presents.
Claire graduated from Dublin Dental School and Hospital, Trinity College Dublin in 2001 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and subsequently worked in the public dental services in Dublin, where she gained valuable experience treating children and patients with special needs.
Claire was also part of the Oral Health Promotion Team where she gave oral health presentations to schools and the residents and carers in special needs centres. In 2005 she completed a Specialist Certificate in Health (Oral Health) from NUI, Galway and joined Flynns Dental Care in 2008. Claire provides an excellent standard of care for her patients, and is meticulous in her attention to detail. She enjoys educating her patients on how to maintain good oral health and is committed to making hygiene appointments a comfortable and positive experience. Claire is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association.
Caraíosa graduated from UCC as a dental hygienist with first class honours where she also achieved a certificate in Lateral Cephalometric Dental Radiography with distinction.
Prior to this she worked as a dental nurse in general practice in County Kerry. During this time she successfully completed a course in Intra Oral and Panoramic Dental Radiography in UCC.
She is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association.
Caraíosa puts her patients at ease allowing them to get the most from their treatment with little stress. She believes that providing her patients with all the correct information and knowledge along with a tailored oral hygiene programme will lead to successful treatment results which contributes to her patients overall health and well being.
She is very gentle and welcoming to all patients especially children and nervous patients.
She has carried out oral health presentations to primary school students during her time in UCC.
Caraíosa enjoys ongoing professional development courses which help provide her patients with the best possible treatment and care.
In her free time she is a fan of Munster and Irish rugby, she also enjoys movies and reading.
